We constantly strive to be at the leading edge of technology in order to offer you the complete range of dental care. The expansion of our X-ray technology is an interesting and highly relevant extension of our practice. We were among the first to move from the obsolete analogue to the new digital standard many years ago. Since two months we have the opportunity to also acquire 3-dimensional X-ray images thanks to the most advanced X-ray technology. The digital volume tomograph (DVT) used by us is far better as compared to the common CT technology that has been used previously to acquire such images. This state-of-the-art technology acquires images of even higher quality and only exposes the patient to a fraction of the radiation level generated by the old CT. The acquisition of these special X-ray images allows for a significantly improved diagnostics in all dental areas and serves for a perfect planning and performance of interventions, especially with regards to implant surgery. We are pleased to be among the few dental practices having this opportunity.
